I always knew I wanted to be a writer. My first published work was in the Detroit Children’s Museum newsletter when I was in 5th grade. I’d write…and write…and write – mostly about my weird dreams. My first novel was published in 2000. It sucked, but it taught me a LOT about the process. I took a break from “regular” writing to stretch my acting wings. Soon, I was writing screenplays. One thing led to another, and I was back at writing. This time, to stay. I have several pop-culture fandoms, love to do crafty things, and I’m a pretty good cake decorator.
